Healing Design

At Kier, we have been leading the way in healthcare design and construction for over three decades. Our extensive experience in live healthcare environments allows us to deliver state-of-the-art facilities that cater to the needs of staff, patients, and their families. Our mission is to work in partnership to create high-quality healthcare spaces that provide invaluable care and support for our local communities.

We are proud to say that we have delivered 25 projects in partnership with the NHS since January 2024, totalling over £445m.*

Passionate

Our people are local and the NHS facilities we build service their family and friends. It’s more than bricks and mortar to us – it is part of our community.

About a third of the team who are building the hospital are local. Their families have been treated here, they’ve had their babies here, so it’s an emotional connection that we have to this building. It is something quite special, it really is.

We’ve delivered over 100 clinical services, over 200 healthcare projects and major investment programmes in England, Scotland and Wales. Our experience strengthens every project, connecting with NHS Trusts to share insights.

Solution provider

From business case to delivery, we help cut risk and drive efficiency with in-house expertise in funding, surveys, design, carbon and more. We help with aftercare and apply lessons to future NHS schemes.
