Once complete the nine-floor building will provide 134,000 sq.ft of Category A office space and 5,000 sq.ft of retail space in the heart of London's prime W1 postcode. With carbon reduction a key focus of the build, the project will aim to achieve a better embodied carbon intensity than the Greater London Authority aspirational target of 600 kgCO2e/m2.

How are we achieving these targets?

The use of GGBS as cement replacement within the reinforced concrete frame
Use of recycled structural steel (approx. 60%).
External façade - precast concrete panels manufactured and glazed off-site
Off-site mechanical and electrical modules for plant rooms and riser areas
Top two levels will include south facing roof terraces
Basement will house 259-bike store with changing facilities
Double-height reception and generous amenity provision
Office floors designed to maximise natural light via glazing on all elevations

TIDE Bankside
LBS Properties

The new 12-storey, 145,000 sq. ft building, will provide a mixture of office space, affordable workspace and retail space and is situated near Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern in London’s Bankside area, next to the River Thames. The project will aim to achieve a better embodied carbon intensity than the Greater London Authority aspirational target of 600 kgCO2e/m2.

Refinery
Advanced Research Clusters

This development in Hammersmith will provide a state-of-the-art new home for life science organisations in the UK. The project will create 150,000 sq. ft of high spec, laboratory, research and development space under one roof. Located on the Northern Embankment of the River Thames, the project includes the extension and full reconfiguration of the existing four-storey building on site. The building's original concrete frame will be used (resulting in a significant carbon saving) and two extensions will be added, along with a green roof and a new façade.
